  I never got the opportunity to sit and talk with him, he was a elder and

  I was new in the organization. But i was curious why he became a JW.

  i saw an instagram post showing a short clip of a talk being given in one of our southern states.

  the talk clip showed speaker making the statement, "jehovah doesn't want anyone to know satans real name, jehovah hates satan so much, he doesn't even want his name mentioned" .

  i've met a few.

  i'm not talking about the jw who, whether df'd or not, falls off the radar and just gets on with living a normal life - good luck to them and may there be many more!.

  i mean the former jehovah's witness who is now enjoying all the benefits of a cult free life thanks to the efforts of many bloggers, posters and activists, but is critical of the efforts of someone close them to free more jws.

  I don't think we need to question why Alchemist is thinking about returning to

  KH. If he or she have been here any length of time and have read the topics, there

  is no way will the blindfold go on again. First of all when you have been enlighten it's

  hard sitting there, basically you are the only one that is listening to the BS and

  understand what the hell they are trying to accomplish. The other 99.99% of the audience

  have no idea what is being said. We understand the BS about, we are in the last days, overlapping

  generation, changes on blood, changes for 144000, the BS how we protect the young ones among

  us. You will sit there and in your mind you are saying, I call BS. You look around and wonder,

  WTH folks don't you get it.

  No way can one sit there if they have been here any length of time and have read the many subjects

  that we have discuss.

  Sometimes i wonder how would it be after years of being out to sit in

  on the Sunday talk. Friends Satan is busy, we have a short time remaining.

  I guess it would be the same if the speaker was saying, friends we have only

  5 months before Xmas, you know what that means Santa Claus.

  I might be entertaining, like a Star Wars convention.

  jehovah's witnesses have learned by the mistakes of all the christian churches who wasted valuable money by spending it on "food banks", "woman's shelters", "orphanages" and "homeless shelters feeding the poor and hungry kids".

  the current may 2015 "awake" magazine deals with the only way to help the homeless people.

  This guy can fry up a few WT and Awakes after reading them, if you don't work you

  don't eat. There is no unforeseen occurrences in JW world. No mental problems, read

  the Awake and that will straighten you out, if your child is starving it's your fault.

  Oh by the way if you find a job and want to become a JW look me up, we need money

  not homeless people.

  Tax-exempt Status of Churches and the Gay Marriage Decision

  it will be interesting to see what will happen with the "beloved" 501c3 tax exempt status which the churches hold so dearly onto.

  the first-century christians met in homes.

  they did not have exemption from taxes to the governments.

  VI. ""It amounts to this "Churches don't pay taxes and in exchange they don't

  get involved in politics". The churches I'm familiar with, come election day their

  sermon, who you should vote for. LOL

  We know religious organization can and do take GREAT advantage of their tax

  free status. Many amass great wealth and vast media empires, all of to off the tax rolls.

  The point is that religious organizations can and do espouse doctrines of intolerance

  and hatred, filter funds to foreign enemies, and cause for more harm than good in

  the communities. Their finances are NEVER scrutinized, that's my point.

  Yes we need more to speak out and call in the IRS to investigate the churches.
